British Empire Medal for Trisha

Our Stalybridge Foodbank Centre manager and Trustee – Trisha Jarman – was named in the Kings honours  list at the beginning of the year and recently she received her British Empire medal.  On receiving her award Trisha explained  -the food bank is made up of volunteers, I couldn’t do it on my own so it’s a joint thing. I see it as on behalf of Tameside East Foodbank.

Trisha helped set up Tameside East food bank and then became a trustee shortly after it opened  in December 2012.
